A used-car listing tells you what the seller decided to write. Bilero starts from the number plate instead: registration data, inspection history and specifications come first, and the seller's words sit on top of them.
The problem
Danish vehicle data is public but scattered across several registers in several formats, so in practice neither the buyer nor the seller sees the whole picture.
The approach
We normalised the register into one searchable schema covering millions of vehicles and more than a hundred thousand variants, then built the listing flow on top, so a listing inherits the car data instead of asking for it again.
What runs today
Number plate lookups, inspection reports, technical data, ownership tax and insurance details, live fuel prices, and a marketplace for private sellers and dealers alike.
