A used-car listing tells you what the seller chose to write. Bilero starts from the plate instead. Registration data, inspection history and technical specifications come first, and what the seller wrote sits on top.
The problem
Danish vehicle data is public, but spread across several registers in several formats, so in practice neither buyer nor seller has the full picture.
The approach
We normalised the register into one searchable schema covering millions of vehicles and tens of thousands of variants, then built the listing flow on top, so a listing inherits the car data instead of repeating it.
What runs today
Number plate lookups, inspection reports, technical data, ownership tax and insurance details, live fuel prices, and a marketplace for private sellers and dealers alike.
